When we started?

It was all started when DJAMOER, LLC. was founded and legalized in United States on March 2005. At that time DJAMOER, LLC. Solution and Design is being used as the entity name which resides in Stillwater, OK - United States. It was founded to provide better services for small size businesses that have little or no budget for their IT (Information Technology) needs by providing a professional and low-cost solution to these businesses.

Since the beginning of May 2006, DJAMOER, LLC. Solution and Design was terminated as a business entity in United States because it was moved to Jakarta - Indonesia. To represent this relocation of the company, the name was changed to DJAMOER Solution and Design. The focus of the company itself is shifted towards client-server networking and web development. A major company re-branding was done to ensure that the image reflected right for the company.

On September 2007, we expanded our area of services towards digital media, which include both digital signage and one-stop kiosk solution. We work hand-in-hand with our trusted partners to develop a solid hardware solution and we've been offering our services for the platform and content of the digital signage and kiosk solution since then. Aside from the above hardware and software stand point, we offer a consultation service to implement it and we even go further as to managing, monitoring, and executing the project.

During September 2008, DJAMOER Solution and Design has finally been able to set foot by itself as an individual company that establish a legal business entity (Perseroan Terbatas) and changing its name to PT DJAMOER Technology Media. The named itself reflect the commitment of our company to stay focus on this industry.

Realizing that it's impossible to keep everything under one company, some of our company's departments whom are considered to be matured enough are mostly being establish as a separate business entity from PT DJAMOER Technology Media. This division of the company are being done to answer the demand of each department's target market, so they can focus more on each department field of expertise, while PT DJAMOER Technology Media will provide a one-stop solution through a unity of this separation.

In the year to come DJAMOER will stay focus as a one-stop solution company for most businesses out there who are looking for a reliable partner/vendor in this growing Technology Media industry.

We're located in a nice and beautiful country called Indonesia, where we have a vast equatorial archipelago of 17,000 islands extending 5,150 kilometers (3,200 miles) east to west, between the Indian and Pacific Oceans in Southeast Asia. It's ranked number 4th as the world's most populous nation as of 2007. The largest islands are Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo), Sulawesi, and the Indonesian part of New Guinea (known as Papua or Irian Jaya).

Our headquarter happens to be located in DKI Jakarta, which is the capital city of Indonesia. It is right inside the Java island with some 130 million inhabitants on an island the size of New York State, which consist of 60 percent from the country's population of 234,693,997 on July 2007 according to http://www.indexmundi.com/Indonesia/population.html.

Why we're doing it?

Some people call us geek, some people call us smart, some people call us creative, some people call us unique, some people call us weirdo, and some of them don't even call us anything; but at the end of the day we're just a group of people who loves doing what we're doing. Because it takes so much of our time, we tend to miss out from social activity, even though it doesn't mean that we don't have any social life. After all we still love to socialize with all the personnel inside our team.

Our team doesn’t usually think outside the box, instead we're thinking too deep inside the box, which makes us an expert in our own fields. To make sure that we're not being bounded inside our own box, once in a while we do a brainstorming session with most of the team personnel, in which we try to see things differently from different kind of boxes by exchanging our own expertise, so we ended up seeing things deep inside different kind of boxes. We even go further by inviting our vendors to join the brainstorming session with us. This is how we build our innovative thinking, by not looking only from the outside and forget about the inside, instead we're seeing deep inside to come up with the winning solutions. We used to call this methodology as "thinking inside different boxes", but we found it a little bit awkward nowadays.

Basically, we love our job and we love what we do. Because we love what we do, we don't let ourselves to be dictated by a corporate regulation and some common nonsense defined by top management people. We tend to remove all those bureaucracy stuff and focus more on what we love to do, such as dreaming up some foolish but useful idea to shake the world of marketing and show them that we had enough of their marketing nonsense; sketching up on our computer screen to create a state of the art design to prove that we definitely do a much better design compare to kindergarten kids; cracking up and hacking up code to create one of the best system out there, so we can prove our existence as a geek in this emerging geek society; scratching and banging our heads to the wall so our client can get the best possible solution for their technology media needs while we do all the dirty jobs for them; and finally we're doing it all to win over the most prestigious cup that is being held and judged by our own idealism, which was built because of our pride as the expert in each of the field that we're good at.

How we do it?

During the second phase, this is tend to be lead by our team of experts, because this is where our expertise is being used to execute the project. On the last phase, this is where we do some evaluation to consider the result from the execution process, which lead to either internal or external matters.

As a company that works in this vast variety and fast growing industry, it will be hard to keep up with every little detail from each specific field of expertise. In realizing this, we decided not to walk the same path with other Technology Media company, whom are building a large company consisting of several large divisions to accommodate the needs; instead we try to keep each team to be as lean as possible for each field of expertise and later make them as an independent company that has its own target market.

The interesting side of the story is that most of our sister companies and trusted partners are the type of companies that actually grow together with DJAMOER as their own market is emerging into their own specific target market. As for DJAMOER itself, we stay focus on developing new businesses and providing a one stop services to most of our corporate clients.

To accommodate the development of new businesses, we have a dedicated Business Development Team that will focus on researching new expertise and business opportunity, so we can always get ahead of the competition. Our team consist of experts from all over the fields in Technology Media industry, as well as business people.
